The Sagrada FamÃlia is a famous basilica located in Barcelona, Spain. Its history dates back to 1882 when construction began under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar.
However, in 1883, Antoni Gaudà took over the project and completely transformed its design, making it his life's work until his death in 1926.
GaudÃ's unique architectural style, inspired by nature and incorporating elements of Gothic and Art Nouveau, is evident in the basilica's design. Unfortunately, due to funding and logistical challenges, the construction progressed slowly, and it remains unfinished to this day.
Despite its incomplete state, the Sagrada FamÃlia has become an iconic symbol of Barcelona and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ongoing construction continues to rely on private donations and modern engineering techniques to realize GaudÃ's vision and complete this extraordinary masterpiece
